Arrancamos este blog cuando Saborea Castilla y León está a punto de cumplir su segundo año de vida y por eso queremos, con este artículo, narraros nuestra andadura en estos meses.
El proyecto arrancó con el objetivo de la creación de empleo de calidad para personas con discapacidad de la mano de ASPAYM Castilla y León, con la idea de fusionar la tradición del comercio local con el producto de proximidad que tanto promociona la marca de garantía de Alimentos de Valladolid, de la mano de la Diputación provincial, dando como resultado las tiendas Saborea Castilla y León.
La primera tienda física se abrió en diciembre de 2023 en el municipio de Matapozuelos en la provincia de Valladolid. Un local propiedad de la repostería La Giralda de Castilla que nos aportó el traspaso de su amable establecimiento anteriormente explotado, pero que ha hecho permanecer ese espíritu de la tradición agroalimentaria de la provincia de Valladolid.
La segunda tienda física abrió sus puertas en septiembre de 2024, en el corazón de la capital vallisoletana en la Plaza Zorrilla, en plenas Ferias de Valladolid y gracias a la cesión de un antiguo quiosco municipal del Ayuntamiento de Valladolid. Con este punto de venta se pretende acercar el producto de proximidad a la urbe, abriendo mercado para los productores locales y acercando el producto para los clientes urbanitas.
En noviembre de 2024 se lanzó al mercado la tienda online de Saborea Castilla y León, con la colaboración de la Diputación de Valladolid, y se puede decir que es “La tienda online oficial de la marca Alimentos de Valladolid”. Con esta plataforma damos un pasito más allá y llevamos estos productos locales de Valladolid a cualquier punto de la península, y damos valor añadido facilitando el proceso de compra con un gestor personal que te acompañará y aconsejará de cualquier duda que surja durante tu navegación por la web www.saboreacastillayleon.com
También hemos tenido la suerte de estar presentes en el centro comercial de referencia a nivel de Castilla y León Río Shopping, gracias a la marca de cervezas artesanas La Birra Láctea que compartió con nosotros el premio de un concurso de emprendedores senior, y que consistía en la explotación de un stand dentro del centro comercial a lo largo de unas semanas. Nuestra presencia aquí nos aportó una gran visibilidad y cercanía con el cliente autonómico.
Sin embargo, Saborea Castilla y León no para, y seguiremos trabajando para conseguir más oportunidades de empleo para personas con discapacidad, de hecho, contamos ya con un extraordinario equipo de 9 personas que cada día aportan su esfuerzo y dedicación a la marca, y eso nos hace muy especiales.
